Dock Walls has the best political strategy for reform of Illinois government, but even though he has not mentioned it on his site, he has always stood in solidarity with the disability community on paratransit funding, policy and service; and a clean and green affordable paratransit. It is unfortunate that he is the only candidate who stood with Pace paratransit riders at their prayer vigil at Pace headquarters and quest to prevent fare increases and rescind bad service policy such as the elimination of the UPass, monthly ADA pass, and the inefficient zone system that cracets capacity constariants along with the fare increase that penalizes people who live at, near or below poverty--that's the majority of the riders in Illinois, esp. in the Chicago ADA service area.
