Offset the discontinuation of State Employee Furlough days with savings resulting from a 4 day a week, 10 hour a day, 40 hour work week
Install Energy efficient light bulbs throughout the state public buildings, state facilities and along the Interstate highways
Profit Margin Management; limit the profit margin of companies doing businesses with the State to ten percent (10%).
Delay all non-essential repairs.
Reduce the Illinois Prison Population by thirty three percent (33%). Carefully reassign those non-violent offenders who are needlessly incarcerated.
Reduce judicial Costs. Avoid excessive criminal prosecutions. Instead issue tickets to non-violent offenders and fine them accordingly.
Reduce the State’s Auto Fleet by ten percent (10%)
Reduce Administrative Paper Flow by fifty percent (50%)
Avoid debt to fund service. Pay as we go.
Grow State’s Economy Tax revenue (income & Sales) based upon 3% Growth
Utilize $2 Billion of the discretionary Capital Budget funds to create 50,000 to 100,000 sustainable Private Sector jobs
Institute a Tax Increase for Non-resident Workers;
specifically Indiana Residents who work in Illinois.
